The Directors of the El Buen Pastor Fund have always wanted more than a bare bones existence for the children. Because we are blessed with a wonderfully gifted art teacher, it was decided that we would fund the expense for materials for that program. Though she eventually left Morelia, the program has continued under Jean Laurentis' dedicated leadership.

When the Monte Vista Spanish Club in Southern California made a Christmas donation for an outing, it was combined with other funds to send all of the children to the beach at Zihuatenejo.

We now look at Enrichment in the broadest sense, to include things like day trips to surrounding areas, outings to McDonalds, and treats to celebrate successful schoolwork. As funds permit, additional outings can be provided, although this is not on the same priority level as say basic needs and education.
